Slippery Rock Stronman Competition
This Saturday the 19th here at Slippery Rock University, the 2nd annual Slippery Rock University Strongman Competition will be held at I believe 12:00 p.m. at Old Thompson Stadium. I have heard that there are not too many people, only between 12 and 20 people, who have signed up to particicpate. There are different divisions depending on what you weigh and these different divisions require different weight in the events so you if you weigh 200 or below you will not be expected to lift the same weights as those weighing 235 and above. Anyone interested should contact Nicholas Marts. You can also sign up that day. This is a great way to meet some new people. It is for both guys and girls. Come check it out!

I went and watched on Saturday and it was pretty intense! There were some pretty big guys there...and girls! I was very impressed at how much they could lift. It was very interesting to watch. The one guy dropped the weight on his leg though, I was pretty scared for him. It looked very painful.
